In summer time this place is always busy,but in winter most tend to forget about it.
At just under a miles walk from the roadside, there’s no excuse not to visit this gem of a beach.
Navigation isn’t a problem as it’s well signed and the defined path leads you to the beach.
A Golden beach with shallow waters, an ideal spot for some beach combing or a wee picnic with the family.
Family time. A spare few hours and looking for something to do that wasn’t the swing park!
A great wee walk through the ‘jungle’ to discover the old walk through bridge, the ruins of Toward Castle and the ‘new’ castle.
Not forgetting the mandatory play on the beach.
Took a wee drive up to Glenbranter with the family today. In between the showers we managed a wee walk.
Ok, not a hike, but with the wee one (18 months old) it was an expedition.
All routes well signposted, whether walking or biking.
A short walk and a longer carry let us enjoy the old classic ‘ chessy hunt’ . A few red squirrels spotted along with a wee froggy.
